Generation of Geoinformation for Land Management at a National Level (Ecuador)

A national level plan to collect GIS and technical information on the following topics, which will be of significant value for conservation activities, including formulating baselines and monitoring for REDD+. The data will include and focus on the following areas:

Base Mapping, Water Erosion Hazards, Land Use Capability, Weather (Deficit Water, Watershed Division. Potential evapotranspiration, isotherms, isohyets), Geomorphology, Productive Systems (Natural Coverage, Coverage and Use of Land, Plots, Irrigation, Production Systems).
