Lao-German REDD+ project pioneers FPIC in Sayabouri Province, Laos
Villagers around the Nam Phui NPA will become the first in Laos to formally give consent on whether or not to participate in a REDD+ project. Free, Prior and Informed Consent Surui Carbon Project
The Surui Carbon Project was conceived in 2007 by
the Metareilá Association, with support from environmental and indigenous organizations.
The project aims to strengthen cultural and environmental conservation in the
Indigenous Land Sete de Setembro, which has an area of 247,870
