State ministry responsible for implementing and monitoring the compliance of environment and housing regulations, and coordinating actions and mechanisms with agencies from the three government levels in order to improve the quality of life in Chiapas. The ministry collaborates in the development of Chiapas' Action Program for Climate Change and is the state's implementing entity for REDD+.
