Chatham House-RRI Dialogue on Forests, Governance and Climate Change No. 3
The third in the series of Chatham House-RRI Dialogue on Forests, Governance and Climate Change will be held in Chatham House on Friday 22nd January 2010. It will provide a key opportunity to discuss the implications of what has – or has not – been agreed at the Copenhagen climate conference in December 2009. The agenda will of course not be finalised until after Copenhagen, but the preliminary version is available below; we aim to include sessions on:
• Perspectives on Copenhagen: what was agreed, and what does it mean?
• Learning from the ground: addressing tenure and governance to fight deforestation and promote restoration.
• How can REDD promote better forest governance?
• What happens next? A question and answer session with a panel of experts.
The meeting is open to all, and there is no charge for admission. However, pre-registration is essential, and you must register by the end of Friday 15 January to be guaranteed admission. To register, send an email with your name and affiliation to climate-forest.registration@chathamhouse.org.uk.
