Conference: The Contribution of Forests to Rural Livelihoods

To help put the environment more realistically onto the poverty agenda, CIFOR is organizing a global conference of 200 to 300 of the world’s leading researchers, policy makers, and journalists. A range of presenters including the World Bank and IUCN will introduce new research findings about tropical forests and poverty.
