Reduction of emissions from deforestation and degradation in Acre, Brazil
The Government of the State of Acre is pleased to invite you for the presentation of the State System of Incentives for Environmental Services (SISA), in Cancun, during the United Nations Climate Change Conference – COP 16.
The presentation will include the governance mechanisms of SISA and its methodologies for the measurement of the reduction in emissions of carbon dioxide from deforestation and forest degradation, and for the verification and reporting of such emissions, for the generation of the credits to be traded.
The initiative seeks to bring together all the people and institutions that are contributing with the Sustainable Development Project of the State of Acre, with the Amazon region and with the search of effective solutions for global climatic changes.
