The Nature Conservancy (Mexico)

In Mexico, TNC is a member of the REDD Taskforce (CTC-REDD) and has been accompanying the development of early actions of the Yucatan Peninsula. At the subnational level, TNC has been working with state governments for the development of the REDD + regional strategy. Currently is working on developing a deforestation drivers analysis and initiating the conformation of the regional REDD+ Task Force (CTC- REDD Peninsula de Yucatan). TNC has promoted the establishment of a regional alliance of civil organizations called Itzincab to work together on various issues including REDD+.
