DRAFT - Guidance For The Provision of Information On Redd+ Governance

This draft Guidance is a response to the rapid developments in relation to REDD+. A major step forward was achieved in Cancun, Mexico,in December 2010 where an agreement was reached on the activities, principles and safeguards underlying REDD+, including on the need for systems toprovide information on how the safeguards are being addressed and respected throughout the undertaking of REDD+ activities. Against this background, this document offers a Guidance for the provision of information on key governance issues for implementing REDD+, including REDD+ safeguards.
