Field Report to Luki Biosphere Reserve, Kifulu and Kiobo, DRC
This field report provides the background to the Luki Biosphere Reserve, particularly the villages of Kifulu and Kiobo. It discusses the current status of REDD and implementation. It concludes that wider engagement with communities, increased community participation, and more holistic changes in institutions, laws and policies are necessary for the greater success of forest policies.
