The Interim REDD+ Partnership
The Interim REDD+ Partnership was established in May 2010 at a conference in Oslo, Norway. It aims to increase REDD+ activities and funding from donor countries.
The Interim REDD+ Partnership is an interim platform for Partners to scale up REDD+ actions and finance. It aims to improve effectiveness, efficiency, transparency and coordination of REDD+ initiatives and financial instruments. It aims to facilitate knowledge transfer, capacity enhancement, mitigation and technology development and transfer.
The Interim REDD+ Partnership document recognises the critical need to work with a wide range of non-governmental stakeholders and to support sustainable livelihoods, provide biodiversity benefits and promote sustainable development.
